Acute hepatitis

Causes
Acute hepatitis can be triggered by several factors, including viral infections like Hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E. It may also result from excessive alcohol consumption, exposure to toxic substances like certain medications or chemicals, and autoimmune disorders where the body's immune system attacks liver cells.

Symptoms
Symptoms of acute hepatitis often include jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes), dark urine, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and loss of appetite. In more severe cases, individuals may experience confusion or drowsiness due to liver dysfunction.
